Abelard Photography has been providing quality photography for 30 years. We are located in Indianapolis, Indiana. Our products and services have been appreciated by our clients from all over the United States as well as internationally.

Abelard Photography is known for high quality family and children’s portraits, new mother and baby portraits, high school senior portraits, commercial photography and much more. We also specialize in family reunions and large group portraits. All of these can be accomplished either on location or here in the studio.

Image development using Photoshop for digital manipulation after the portrait sessions accounts for more than half of the creative effort. This is illustrated in the "image development" section of the web site.

Framing services, through Sigman's Gallery (sigmansgallery.com) are also provided. Sigman's has been Indianapolis’ premier art gallery and fine custom framer since 1987. Located in historic Broad Ripple, they are recognized by the area’s finest artists, designers, businesses and residents as one of the foremost galleries and custom framers in Central Indiana.

We are particularly conscious of the need to provide high quality portraiture and therefore require more than the usual personal consultation prior to the actual session. These are spelled out in our "session details" section of the web site.

While we don't photograph weddings, we are pleased to provide engagement portraits, bridal portraits and creative wedding album design. We work with your existing wedding photographer to turn their images into a beautiful album.

We make beautiful, virtual watercolor or oil portraits as well. These are computer-generated creations that are works of fine art.

We also provide photo restoration services for your aging photographs. Through digital manipulation, your images can be returned to better than original quality.

Abelard Photography also provides public relations photos and executive portraits for businesses, as well as promotional brochures and postcards to help your business grow. Commercial photographs and storyboards help to tell the story of what your business has to offer.

Architectural photos of your office headquarters or other branch locations can also be provided. Cities and municipalities that promote their most outstanding architectural features to the tourist industry will find Abelard Photography artistically up to the task.
